Andreas J. Obrecht coordinates the office of the Commission for Development Studies and he is responsible to build up a new focus area for 'Higher Education & Research for International Development Cooperation' at the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD-GmbH)

Mattias Larsen manages KEF’s participation in the project ERAfrica , an ERA-NET working toward reducing the fragmentation of the European Research Area through greater cooperation between the EU and African partners in S&T and research.
He also works as a researcher at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, where he currently leads a project on gender and development in India.
