In October, SciDev.Net published the first of a series of monthly columns on African science and technology policy by Linda Nordling, former editor of ResearchAfrica.

Redesigned website for IPPG
The IPPG Programme is a shorthand name for the Research Consortium on Improving Institutions for Pro-Poor Growth, based at the Institute for Development Policy and Management, School of Environment and Development, University of Manchester.
Four new IPPG discussion papers now available:
