GDN: 11th Annual Global Development Conference
Regional and Global Integration: Quo Vadis?
GDN (Global Development Network) is a global network of research and policy institutes that work on
facilitating and applying research to policy development and practice.
GDN partners with various international donor organizations and governments, and is a worldwide network of research institutes,
academic institutions, think tanks and more than 8,000 individual researchers worldwide.
Excerpt:
"The Global Development Conference in Prague will focus on globalization and regional integration
in the context of the recent economic crisis. While the economic and political consequences of the crisis will undoubtedly cast
a deep shadow on the economies of developing countries, it is also likely to hasten the structural shift in global economic
power from the Western countries to the emerging economies.
GDN’s Annual Conferences attract a diverse audience – researchers, policy-makers, representatives of international organizations,
development practitioners, among others."
Venue: Prague, Czech Republic
Date: January 16-18, 2010
