The first things that come to mind if one thinks of Ethiopia are hunger, poverty and conflicts. But is there not more to discover? The exhibition by the Commission for Development Studies at the Austrian Academy of Sciences introduces scientists from Ethiopia and Austria, as well as their projects.

Agricultural researchers who are cooperating with Ethiopian farmer families for the improvement of soil fertility, Palaeoanthropologists, who are looking for the origin of mankind, medics fighting smallpox and many more are presented in the exhibition.
