Kurzbeschreibung, verfaßt von Kindu Mekonnen (Mitherausgeber) : "The book on “Working with Communities on Integrated natural Resources Management” consists of research and development experiences from Galessa Watershed in the central Parts of Ethiopia. A total of 13 papers that cover biophysical and social issues in the Galessa watershed are included in the book. The Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) in collaboration with the African Highlands Initiative (AHI) project supported the research and development activities in Galessa watershed. The Commission for Development Studies at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (KEF) funded research project on 'indigenous tree and shrub species in Galessa watershed' is also part of the book. The book is expected to serve as a reference material for development agents as well as academicians."
